I just called the sister of my heart of almost 50 years who was born in San Francisco of immigrant Chinese parents. I was telling her I had to clap quietly because my rescue dog freaks out with loud noises. It broke my heart that she was surprised Asian Americans were not called "Orientals". I told her that only asshats and dimwits still categorize people by the color of their skin.
Our party is so much better than the party of HATE.
