How bad WILL this hurt Hillary? Some people just can't get past her . . . . Its been said that . . .

Even the teevee talkers who many on our side used to trust are doing this. MSNBC is the worst. Fomenting controversy and division. Prefacing with YammieShit as it it were serious, and then asking how the Dems can recover from that.

Et

Cetera.

And it isn't just MSNBC. I hear on local radio stations, local news radio. Other cablenooz.

Last night we switched from MSNBC to CSpan and the contrast was jarring. On "liberal" ( ) MSNBC, all talk was about BernieBrosBooingBadly. They had their pics set up such that the booing seemed louder than the speaker. On CSpan it was starkly different. The speakers were clear and the booing was only faint and even faint, only occasionally.

These fuckers are really hurting democracy.

And I really don't care to hear opinions of rich white privileged people who will not be affected by a cheeto presidency.

Fake Controversy to gain ratings, ratings to drive up ad rates. More complicated than that, but still.

I don't need Andrea or Rachel or anyone else telling me that what I saw and heard wasn't what I thought I saw and heard.

AT&T Uverse has a great feed. I watched the RNC the same way. NO PUNDITS.

I get to hear all of the speeches without the spin.

12. I thought last night went pretty smooth compared to other conventions going back to the 50s.......

The Dem conventions during the Vietnam era were very contentious, and you would think they would never
patch up the differences! But with time, they all came together when faced by the Goldwaters, Nixons, etc.

usually while they're telling us how Trump "resonates" with voters.

No matter what bullshit Trump spews, no matter how many times he's caught lying, no matter how many racist, misogynist insults he hurls, NPR reminds us that he "resonates" with voters, but Clinton is "untrustworthy" because...

Why, exactly?

I thought I was watching something completely different - and I guess I was. C-Span is going to be it for me when it comes to these types of political events from now on.
