If I were going to that event I rather think I'd rather be up there talking than sitting in the audience and forced to listen.
Of course, I don't think I much care what people would think about what I said. PUMA is a fine expression for me in matters of opinion and ideology. We don't need to march in utter lockstep and take orders from the platform--neither individuals, nor elected officials. This is not the CPSU we're talking about, and I forever wonder what, exactly, the platform is good for except making the writers thereof feel important.
