1. the first time I saw that one had to present an id to get OTC cold medicine, I was certain it was
some sort of weird joke.

3. Are there federal databases that they can use to quickly and efficient screen you?
Background checks are pretty simple - either you pass or you fail. It should be quick and easy.

4. I bought a puppy, and cold medicine quite a few times...never had to fill out anything,
wait 6 weeks for the permit to get approved, or get a background check.
