Charges Filed in Mother's Day Brawl at Japanese Steakhouse

EAST POINT, GA -- Police have identified four people involved in a Mother's Day brawl at a metro Atlanta Japanese steakhouse, a video of which quickly went viral over YouTube.

The fight broke out at the Kiku Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar when a female customer berated a busboy, Demonte Harrison, for smiling. Harrison, who was cleaning tables at the time, told the woman it was his job to smile, and that she couldn't tell him not to smile.

Then another customer, a man, punched Harrison, and three other men in the group began punching him as well. Harrison's fellow workers jumped in to defend him.

Restaurant owner Charlie Son estimated he lost about $5,000 in business on Sunday. No one was seriously injured, but the patrons who started the fight never paid their tab, but just got up and left after the fight had ended.

We have dozens of threads posted every single day based on media reports about people of all races acting like assholes towards one another. By whites towards whites, by blacks towards blacks, towards each other.....towards every creed color and religion. Awful, selfish, self centered people doing horrible things to one another. Often even "their own kind". Not because they look different. Just because they're assholes who can't stand sharing oxygen with other human beings and have to make everything a pissing contest about how much of a fool they can act.

The difference is, you stepped into this one with your prejudice on full display, and then sour graped about it when it wasn't the demographic you can do your tired kabuki dance over. You have decided to dismiss this one, because you don't really care about people. Just narrative.
