He didn't intent for someone to illicitly broadcast a private conversation. Microsoft NBC's actions were disgusting when they backstabbed him like that.

Any fucking broadcaster knows your mike could be "hot" at any time. You actually think MSNBC wanted that out there????

Basically you're giving him a pass for being a hypocrite in private who acts offended by guys like Stern in public.

It pays well but he lacks any dignity, like all the corporate whore propagandists.

3. Matthews such a hypocrite. Rating women's looks? This would be amusing except it is stupid instead.

9. He ran a clip of Trump on Stern rating Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie's looks

He then pretends he "doesn't get Stern" and acts offended by what he's hearing.

This is a guy who once was kicked to on air after MSNBC's attractive Wall Street reporter did a segment by saying "My god, wow, lovely". He also commented on Trump's wife just last week, which I quite frankly thought was minor, but he's a hypocrite.

He's definitely not for everybody, but the guy can interview....Andersen Cooper was on a few weeks ago, and even he said Howard is one of the best interviewers out there.....

Check out Howard's interview with Madonna from 2015, very informative & fascinating.....

12. He has done great interviews with McCartney and Billy Joel

Where they sat in studio and performed while being interviewed. People do not appreciate how he gets celebrities to drop their guard by asking silly questions, and then really getting into some meaty history.

17. I remember the 2002 interview with McCartney and thought the same thing.

He's always been guarded in interviews and then Stern simply said "Did your dad call you a moron like my dad did me?" and Paul remembered giving his dad "cheek" when he was 17 and his dad hitting him and Paul said "It was the last time he did that." then very quietly saying "My God, I almost forgot about that." Stern has a way of drawing people out.

8. Stern is no prize. My experience -

When I moved back home after being in the service for awhile, Howard Stern was on the morning show for a radio station that I had previously enjoyed listening to. At that time there was a feud between a couple ethnic groups. Well my impression after listening to just a few shows of his was that he was INCITING these different groups against each other.

I can't prove it, it was a long time ago, but that was the searing impression he made on me and I have had not a shred of respect for Howard Stern since then. (I think I didn't know who he was before that, and I was amazed at his subsequent rise to relative fame and success. Similar to my experience with Glenn Beck.)

So, Matthews may be a turd in his own way, but in my book he's got a ways to go before he's as big a turd as Howard Stern.

Matthews is pretending to be offended by shit he got caught doing "off air".

I know he's not your cup of tea, and that's fine, but Stern is a great interviewer, and has mellowed in recent years.

But he's right about Stern.

Stern is a disgusting asshole. He regularly objectifies women... A perfect match for Drumph.

And yes, I've heard him a lot. A work mate used to listen every day.
