Russia's Defense Ministry says the Russian army successfully test-fired an intercontinental ballistic missile.

The Topol missile was fired at 9:39 Moscow time, according to a statement published by the Novosti news agency. (Ynet)

A prominent Israeli astronomer said the object flew above Lebanese territory and is not a meteor. The UFO was also clearly visible in Palestinian territories. A similar sighting in Norway three years ago turned out to be a failed missile test.

Interesting to see how details got instantly fabricated in those reports about helicopters trailing white smoke chemtrails across cities in Syria.

And since the Syrian government won't lead journalists in to investigate, it only proves that the helicopters weren't just dispersing a white gas, but a particularly toxic white gas.

To question the accuracy of the eye-witness reports, of course, is prima facie proof--what more evidence is needed?--that one's a fervent Assad supporter.

3. I'm missing something here. What's the point of testing a Topol?

They've been reliable for decades but are aging and I believe they stopped production a couple years ago. The RS-24 is more current. It sort of rings of trying to fire up an old lawnmower when you don't have any grass in the yard.
