How many people are going hungry so Trump can own this?

A Look Inside Donald Trump's Lavish, $200 Million 'Palace'

..... Trump is looking for another legal victory. He’s been filing lawsuits since 1995 over airport noise in an attempt to keep planes from flying over the property, according to the Sun-Sentinel. The actions have reportedly already cost local taxpayers $600,000 in legal fees. His latest suit seeks $100 million in damages.

How much more than the average person's contribution to global warming can we write off to the pompous ass?

How much does his jet pollute the atmosphere we breath?

How much energy does he use each year while others freeze in the winter?

Does he even think about other people?

1. Why would anyone have to go hungry.......

.......because someone else owns a gaudy, ridiculously ostentatious "estate"?

The better question, how many people and their families are fed by all the jobs that are necessarily required to maintain the place and run the private club?

As long as his money was made honestly and is properly taxed I don't have a huge problem with how he spends it though I would spend it differently.

8. First of all, Trump never made much money "honestly." He cheated stockholders with bankruptcy...

Another poster, here at DU, described it as an old Mafia trick.

As long as someone makes his or her money honestly and it is properly taxed I don't have a huge problem with how he or she spends it . If it's spent ostentatiously I would spend it differently. However I don't anticipate that "problem".

4. So, no one goes hungry when capitalists take all the money? Worked great in the Dark Ages, right?

How many kids starved today because you own the computer/phone you made this OP on?

If there were some fixed ammount of money on earth and trump physically took that money from someone (i.e., literally took it, not received it from the sale of goods or services) you'd have a point.

Someone having more than you doesn't mean they fucked you to get it.
