Has anyone caught the video of the massive fire in Houston this morning?
Wow! Hope everyone is ok and thank you to those firefighters who are battling the fire! Also, a shout out the firefighters in Alberta and all the others who put themselves on that line to protect us all.

Close to 200 firefighters in response; indications that "chemicals in a large capacity" in may be burning, according to Houston Fire Department spokesman Rick Flanagan; multiple explosions could be seen inside the warehouse, according to KRPC, many of which are believed to be caused by stores of ammunition caught in the fire; residents are being urged to stay inside, close all windows and doors and turn off air conditioning systems (due to filtration, I'd guess).

5. It's been a thing since I lived there, 30 years ago
Surrounded by Pasadena, South Houston, and Texas City.
If it wasn't one, it was the other. |

6. The "thing" I am talking about is the wall-to-wall incessant coverage
(with helicopters!) here... that goes on for hours. Yesterday, it was a murder-suicide. Today, it's a fire.
