60% of WI voters thought the recall was not appropriate

...jus heard on NPR.

This explains a lot, Walker should've won by wider margin...

Also, Walker had 4 more months to campaign against the recall vs Barrets 2...

Again, walker should've been in the mid teens on this one

They split something like 90%-9% in favor of Walker. The problem was the Dem leaners who felt the same way, and stayed home because of it.

2. RWers are whoring the hell out of this talking point because they don't want people to start remembering why Walker was unfit for office to begin with, and the $$$$ propping him up

But, one reaction I have seen with one circulating in my area is that people don't want to be associated with a group that has been perceived and successfully labeled as "trouble makers."

There is such a wide range of variables influencing this result that it is very difficult to estimate a single cause.
