BOSTON GLOBE to publish fake news in Trump edition of Sunday paper...

https://assets.documentcloud.org/documents/2797782/Ideas-Trump-front-page.pdf

"Donald J. Trump’s vision for the future of our nation is as deeply disturbing as it is profoundly un-American.

It is easy to find historical antecedents. The rise of demagogic strongmen is an all too common phenomenon on our small planet. And what marks each of those dark episodes is a failure to fathom where a leader’s vision leads, to carry rhetoric to its logical conclusion. The satirical front page of this section attempts to do just that, to envision what America looks like with Trump in the White House.

It is an exercise in taking a man at his word. And his vision of America promises to be as appalling in real life as it is in black and white on the page."

I know nothing about the Globe, or Boston for that matter, but who thought that this would be a good idea?

This is the state of contemporary "journalism"

Boston is a city in state of Massachusetts in the northeast USA.
It's pretty much where the American Revolution began.

Here's a link for more info:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boston

The (Boston) Globe is the major newspaper in New England.
"The Globe has a long tradition of being a progressive institution, and especially on social issues."
"The Boston Globe has been awarded 23 Pulitzer Prizes since 1966."

American workers and allowing manufacturing to move out of the USA. He knows the politicians don't care about the American workers. I think he will fix the trade policies and maybe trash the trade agreements our ignorant politicians have approved.

Being a politicians doesn't make them an expert in all fields as they think they are. Plus the voters need to reject and defeat those Governors and politicians that allow manufacturing to move out.

You understand the publishing of this paper was satire, aimed at giving people a glimpse at how awful a Trump presidency could be?

I dont see how this would be good in any way for Trump? This is obviously a satire of what any day to day would be like under a Trump presidency, and none of it is good for Trump. I dunno, I totally got what you were getting at by this post, others not so much?

Few news agencies have dared to cross him, so I congratulate the Boston Globe for doing so, and very effectively.

And Trump's well-thought out response? "That's stupid!"

Your name infers that Trump is deporting someone with Japanese heritage to China. Which, if my history serves me, is like a death sentence for you or at the very least, probably won't turn out well for you. I think that's part of your entertaining satirical story.

Trump could make a far more creative gesture for his cause, by having every democrat imprisoned and made to work on the southern U.S. wall. At least that way, he'd have something like 65 million workers all working free of charge.

I wouldn't get why he would need to be so greedy though. We're already pretty much working for free as is. What's the damn insistence that we absolutely have to work for free under his rule? I'd feel better about it if he'd through the low information GOP voter in to help too. That would be poetic justice!
