With regard to T Rump and his statement on abortion.
Now is the perfect time to pounce. He just gave us our in. The simple fact is that we are already on that slippery slope to criminalizing abortion. The Pubes have passed hundreds, yes, literally hundreds of laws limiting abortion and if you cut to the chase, they want to make it illegal. Period.
So here's the rub, why doesn't the Democratic Party come out and say it: The Republican Party wants to have a national database that monitors women's menstrual cycles. Because when you get down to it, with some states allowing abortions, for now, and with abortificant type drugs available, not to mention (CRUDITY ALERT) coat hangers etc., how the hell else can they enforce their ridiculous laws to control women? The Democrats need to pound home this database and when they say it is absurd, which they will, there are easy follow up comments like: do you or don't you support abortion bans? Then how are you going to enforce it? Are you going to monitor google searches for abortificants? Then we should bring it on home with reality: If you are truly against abortion then you should be for trying to minimize the conditions under which a woman chooses to have an abortion. Things like family leave would help, but the Repubes are against it. Free day care, against it. Birth control access, against it. Sex education, against it. Universal health care, against it. A living wage, against it. Equal pay, against it. A higher minimum wage, against it. You see, the Democratic Party is actually the party that is trying to limit abortions by making women's lives better. The Republicans want to put women in jail. Wash, rinse, repeat.

1. IMO, the democratic party is almost always clueless at seizing appropriate opportunities
to counter GOP activities/messaging. It happens over and over again. It's always like the democrats are afraid to speak up!

3. The democratic party and republican parties are minorities in this country as compared to
Independents/Unaffiliated. 43% of this country are Independents/Unaffiliated. I have changed my voter registration to Unaffiliated, because I don't want the DNC/DWS/DLC to think I'm in their bag. That said, I will vote democratic by the candidate.

12. Thirty-five years ago the dems were afraid to speak out. Now they are part of the problem.
It started in the 80s when Reagan poked fun at the word liberal. Instead of standing up to him & the media, the dems ran from the word & they've been running from it & liberal policies ever since. They were afraid to challenge the media machine & it has become more powerful & one-sided ever since. Now the dems are on the same gravy train as the repubs. They throw us a few more crumbs, but the train isn't changing direction or speed.
![]() ![]() ![]() In the second cartoon, Obama is just an icon for the entire party & this is what they been doing for the past 35 years. And now that the chickens are coming home to roost on their We Suck Less campaign strategy, they are looking to blame the left, again. |

21. Which is why I'm changing my voter registration from Democrat to Non Affiliated/
Independent. I will vote democratic, but I don't want the DNC/DLC/DWS to think I'm one of their herd by the numbers. And I'm not alone in this. I am still a strong Democrat, but the democratic party left me, and some have said they don't even need me anymore!

4. Trump's abortion position should stop any Clinton vs Sanders supporter fights
Regardless of which Democrat is nominated, we all need to work together to get them elected over Trump.

5. Sometimes it seems that Trump is on our side. This is a gift.
Somebody should pick it up and run with it. Notice the pubes aren't saying shit, they know he let the cat out of the bag. Even if we have to start a whisper campaign.

8. Noooo, don't pounce yet!
Wait until he's the R nominee.
It's too early to knock him off the podium. If he's gone, we get Cruz. Or, in a contested convention, we might get Ryan, Santorum, or rMoney. |

The Repuglican Party will install the Period Police. How else can it be enforced? Force them to argue the point and women (and men) will be appalled at the answers. Game over.

has he ever been involved in an abortion. Either as the father of the child or monetarily, or in any way at all.

20. It's a reasonable question.
He has bragged publicly about his promiscuity during a period when abortion was illegal in this country. Either there were some abortions, or there are some offspring, or both.
