WTF!!! Hillary Thinks Chuck Schumer Would Be A Good Senate Majority Leader?

This discussion thread was locked as off-topic by azurnoir (a host of the General Discussion forum).

Just watching Hillary on the Rachel Maddow show... and Hillary suggested that Chuck Schumer would be a great majority leader in the Senate? Chuck is a Wall St wh**e... the person who scuttled abolishing the carried interest reform to the tax code.

Sorry Hillary... NO THANKS!!!

I'm aware of that possibility. What I'm thinking is since Hillary is a Wall St... wh**e.... OF COURSE she'd want another one to head the Senate.

Too many liberal Dems tend to whitewash the likes of Hillary and Chuckie because they are social liberals and want to sweep their Wall St connections under the rug.

Edit to add: Bernie would need Chuck to help turn Bernie's mantra into passable legislation.

Other wise, The Revolution should have primaried Chuck. A little late for that one.

But I suspect Bernie held his nose when he decided to run as a Dem. It's one thing to be proud of FDR's Democratic Party... not Bill Clinton's.

Parties often change positions... even stealing issue from each other. There's just not the ideological purity in a two party system we might expect in a true multiparty system. Reagan gave up on fiscal discipline in favor of Starve The Beast. Clinton stole free trade, welfare reform, law and order, and deregulation from the GOP... but gets the Dems out of the fiscal GOP straight jacket only to have the GOP try to sabotage the Clinton Surplus. Obama embraced most of Bush's irresponsible tax cuts... and refuses to prosecute Wall Street... and on and on it goes.

If you liked how Bill worked with the repuKKKes to bring us NAFTA and Newts New Contract with America, you'll love Hillary. To expect anything different is naive.

Black Lives Matters, $15 minimum wage, college free tuition, proson and police reform, asking the 1% to pay a dime more intaxes are ALL lip service. She couldn't care less.

Hillary is better than any of the clowns and assholes on the idiot side, but she is a second choice when all corporate America will let us have....she'll do.
