How is Reinhold Reince Priebus keeping his job?

As bad as our primary gets, it's nothing compared to the circus that has emerged over in GOP land.

2. I've been wondering the same thing.

He sucks up to Trump.

His party is imploding.

He's a joke.

Sooner or later, the guns are going to be aiming at him.

That would seem to be the case here.

17. Point taken, but this election season is looking to become a trainwreck rivaling 2006

The fear is that if Trump is elected, he'll damage the party brand for a generation. Problem: Cruz isn't much better.

9. Compare our mess to their mess

Their mess would be like if Jim Webb suddenly started winning states left and right and Clinton & Sanders were barely hanging on. That's a bad analogy, but it's as close as I can get.

11. Kind of stuck with him this election cycle.

However, once its over and the job is up again....doubt if he is even in the list of contenders.

If they are smart (and that's a big if), the next guy will be a one term-er as well....only he will make the painful overhauls that are needed that will probably piss a lot of people off, but makes sure another Trump doesn't occur.

14. I remember when Hayley Barbour had the job

While I hated the results he accomplished, he worked with ruthless efficiency that I couldn't help but admire ... and all the time maintained an "aw shucks" aura of Southern charm on talk shows and in front of the media.
