NC high school student wears Confederate flag cape, shouts ‘white power’

... three students have been charged after the incident which took place Wednesday at West Brunswick High School in Shallotte.

The students allegedly hung a Confederate flag in the school’s courtyard and then one took it down and wore it as a cape.

The student wearing the flag allegedly walked to the cafeteria and was seen shouting “white power.”

Three students involved have been cited with disorderly conduct ...
