A Newt and Tiffanys

The luster of that little blue box is gone.
Like unveiling Camelot, the reality is clear...
it's just cardboard, albeit nice heavy stuff
painted an appealing shade of blue
but the thrill is gone.

The Newt shops there, runs his fingers over
the glass cases, his sweaty hands palming the goods, his arm drapped over his latest
dalliance, expecting the big pay off from
a purchase of a diamond found in any
generic shop.

It's just an overpriced bobble for an overpriced
dollie both bought on credit from an overpriced bloviator.

I'm over you Tiffanys, but your box is nice.
