(15,703 posts)Red Curve was founded during the 2008 election cycle by Bradley Crate, the Deputy CFO of the Romney for President campaign. He recognized the need for a more structured approach to campaign compliance and treasury management. Using a full service model and leveraging innovative technology, Red Curve Solutions solves the complex problems posed by the financial logistics of modern political campaigns.

(15,703 posts)Dc whispers maybe a Trump site, but the document presented is indeed located at the fec.gov site. The link below has the entire document, all 4 pages of it.
I wonder if Romney is indeed the Republican establishment that the convention will end up with. He can now raise money but he is not on any primaries. So he will enter the convention with no delegates.

(5,781 posts)Political geeks love the idea -- like witnessing an eclipse or a comet -- something rare and fascinating to observe.
However, I see no brokered convention scenario for the GOP that ends well for them.
Possibility 1) They dump Trump and select Cruz or Rubio In this instance, about half the party (as well as Trump leaning independents) are infuriated, and Trump reneges on his promise and runs as an independent. It's hard to envision Rubio, who is steadily dropping in national polls (notwithstanding his win today in PR) suddenly being embraced as the standard bearer. Cruz comes off as a first class jerk to most Senators and all but the most conservative Americans. I think Trump easily gets more votes than either of them in the GE -- all the while, maintaining his image as an outsider.
Possibility 2) They dump Trump, and pick Ryan, Mitt, or Jeb! Again, Trump simply runs as an independent, and now has been handed all the ammunition he needs to tell the electorate that "Beltway Insiders" derailed his candidacy. Now he's suddenly the ultimate outsider in an election cycle that has an electorate that is angry at the establishment.

(22,651 posts)in the campaign investment bank. I think they just have to file papers and state they may run again or 'unsuspend' their campaign someday. There are probably legal ways they can use some of their warchest to assist others in their party. IMO Romney would never let go of a dime of money unless it worked for him as a tax deduction so he'd never have to pay a penny of income taxes.

(5,781 posts)That said, if Trump wins the nomination outright, he might conceivably run as an independent (albeit, not with Ryan -- probably with Huntsman or Jim Webb).
