Trump hearts the mob? (tax returns = mob ties?)

TRUMP AND LA COSA NOSTRA?: Most days, a leading GOP presidential contender suggesting that the frontrunner might be keeping his tax returns under wraps because they showed mob ties would be the news of the day. But Sunday wasn’t just any day, just as 2016 isn’t just any campaign.

Still, Ted Cruz did in fact take to NBC’s “Meet the Press” and ABC’s “This Week” to discuss previous reports that Donald Trump had a business relationship with “Fat Tony” Salerno, who Cruz called “a mobster who is in jail” on "Meet the Press." (As far as we can tell, Salerno died in federal prison in 1992.)

“Maybe his taxes show those business dealings are a lot more extensive than has been reported,” Cruz said on NBC, later using a term that Mitt Romney, the 2012 GOP nominee, has used regarding Trump’s tax returns. “The fact that Donald seems terrified to release his taxes suggests that there's a bombshell there.”

Trump himself employed a slightly new argument in his tour of the Sunday shows, saying people wouldn’t learn that much from his returns and that he’s already filed detailed financial information with the Federal Election Commission.

for 35 years or more... especially construction and real estate... you most certainly have run across / done business with the Mafia at some point.

Not making any excuses... but it's a near certainty.

would be if he had given money to PBS.
He could have deducted the costs for hit men and none of them would care.
