1. I'm really going to miss these "In Performance at the White House" shows

We've watched almost every one of them, including this one broadcast last night. Such joyous affairs, all ... and a reminder how our common American musical heritage unites us all. And it's really been wonderful to see a president who so clearly enjoys music--all kinds of music. I only kind of wish there had been time to devote one to the American Songbook. (Or maybe there was, and I missed that one.)

7. Wow, I am so jealous

of every last person in that room. That was amazing - of course, what else would it be? I guess you've got to be pretty special to be in that crowd.

I sure am going to miss our president - the best in my lifetime.
