Mitch McConnell, Feb. 13, 2016: “The American people should have a voice in the selection of their next Supreme Court justice. Therefore, this vacancy should not be filled until we have a new president.”

Mitch McConnell, Kentucky Law Journal, Vol. 59, 1970: “The Senate should discount the philosophy of the nominee. […] The president is presumably elected by the people to carry out a program and altering the ideological directions of the Supreme Court would seem to be a perfectly legitimate part of a Presidential platform.”

hypocrite.

Always have been competing for this but since the Black guy took up residency in the White House, it has become legendary and comical.

I will say it again:

All, as in 100%, ALL opposition to Obama FROM THE RIGHT is first and foremost, ALWAYS, ALL, based in racism

Are their memories so short they forgot there was a presidential election in 2012 and the people spoke. They are narrow minded.

and so many other politicians are just that POLITICIANS.

What is a politician:

1. a person who is active in party politics.

2. a seeker or holder of public office, who is more concerned about winning favor or retaining power than about maintaining principles.

3. a person who holds a political office.

4. a person skilled in political government or administration; statesman or stateswoman.

5. an expert in politics or political government.

6. a person who seeks to gain power or advancement within an organization in ways that are generally disapproved.
