That, plus the GOP doesn't want to lose their shaky 5-4 SCOTUS advantage.

But their general obstruction comes from their black, black racist hearts.

Good speech, Al. At least it will appear in the record. However I doubt a single Republican Senator heard it.

There is one central reason the Republicans are doing this. That reason is racism.

The Republicans are holding the line against people of color.

There is no other reasonable explanation. President Obama's previous nominees were not radical or controversial.

I like his suggestion that the legislative branch abide by the same rules. But his Constitutional argument basically finishes it.

It is a very good speech.

I rather love Al.

I wonder how many in the Senate are campaigning for re-election or about to retire? They should be disqualified from having any input into our government for the rest of the year by that logic.

When he announced his candidacy on Air America I knew he would win in MN. It was a squeaker, but rational minds prevailed.
