88-year-old granny graduates from elementary school

Shin Bok-soon, 88, who started elementary school at age 84, receives her certificate while graduating with honors from Yangwon Elementary School at a ceremony at Mapo Art Center in Seoul, Feb. 23. 243 students older than 50 graduated on this day. So far, 1,924 people older than 50 have graduated from Yangwon’s four-year elementary school equivalence since it opened in 2005.
