Service Dog Purchase and Training

Ok guys, big update today! As of this moment, we have raised $1,010.00 for my service dog. Two money orders totaling $700.00 have been sent out to the breeder which leaves a balance due of $500.00 for the dog. The rest of the money is pending transfer to the fundraiser's account at NCB Bank.

This is my first fundraising update since being hit by a drunk driver in Hillsboro, Ohio this week. I'm still sore and hurting in my back but I guess that's normal. I received all of my paperwork from my doctor this past week and have signed contracts with the dog breeder and the SD trainer. With the the exception of the auto accident, it has been a great week! I know that I wouldn't have made it this far without the help of my supporters. For that, I thank you! It means more to me than you'll ever realize!

Now, I ask that you continue to share these updates and help me bring awareness to my campaign. We are officially 1/3 of the way there. Can you help me take it even closer? Thank you all for everything you've done for me and my family. Without you, this would not be possible!

(I work my donation based on when my credit card cycle ends each month, heh.)

I read your gofundme post. I really feel for you. Let me suggest, as someone who has been in the pits, that maybe you need to find a better counselor. It took me 4-5 over the years until I found a really splendid one who helps a lot. I still take meds, but a lot less, and I am doing much better.

I don't think the ones you have are really addressing your problems. Covering them up with meds, not useful.

Of course, I am just a layperson, so that's my two cents, probably not worth two cents.

To be honest with you, I haven't had the best of luck with actual counselors. My first one was busted with one of his minor patients and ate a bullet, my other one quit his job after two sessions with me. My doctor talks to me but it's mainly to regulate the meds and the therapist are for talking to about my issues. One thing I have never been able to let go was the fact that my son was the first life I ever took. I honestly have come close to ending it many times. Another reason for the dog is it will stop self harm. I'm really bad about cutting.

I hope the dog helps. When I was at the bottom, what kept me going was that I knew my cat needed me.

Everytime I see that amount go up, my heart burst with excitement! I still need help with everything plus the plane ticket to get the puppy but I am so grateful for those that have helped!
