Ted Cruz is wrong about CNN's reporting
Cruz blamed CNN for a message his campaign sent to supporters the night of the Iowa caucuses suggesting Carson was going to suspend his campaign.
"My political team saw CNN's report breaking news and they forwarded that news to our volunteers, it was being covered on live television," Cruz said during the debate.
Cruz also claimed CNN had inaccurately reported that Carson was suspending his campaign "from 6:30 p.m. to 9:15," and "didn't correct that story until 9:15 that night."

(643 posts)I saw the statements put out by CNN regarding Carson going to Florida. No indication at all that he was suspending his campaign. CNN even followed it up with another statement making it abundantly clear that Carson was still running and would be in NH in a couple of days, after a stop in DC. There is nothing vague about this. I'm not a Cruz fan to begin with but I don't see how anyone can be with his lack of accountability.

(36,827 posts)Fox pseudo-News simply repeated Cruz's lie about it being CNN's fault, so it's not as if anyone on the right is going to figure it out.

The Fox viewer constituents have never been exposed to the truth.

(268,854 posts)and how many times they are calling him out. When these fuggers LIE about the Democratic party hour after hour CNN never calls them - that ex-GEM#NBComcast hack David Gregory said it was not their station's responsibility to call out lies.
