It sounds like we could be in for a very long, drawn-out standoff. The one important difference is that they have taken a Federal building which is quite a bit different than someone doing a standoff in their trailer in the woods which is discussed late in the video. Also, I think the people of Burns are extremely important because they want their lives back. They are the ones that need to put the pressure on Bundy.

(53,764 posts)He talks about his livelihood being eroded by fed land policies but who is taking care of his fu_king herd that he needs to help pay back that 500k he borrowed from the feds the very entity he's leading an armed insurrection against?
And the rest of them, don't they have jobs or something?

(53,764 posts)And he's in Oregon with the cowboy hat and talking about how ranchers' are being screwed.
I thought the trucking business was a side thing and he at least had a spread next his daddy's to at least portray himself as a rancher fighting for ranchers' rights.

(54,770 posts)Weaver was given weeks to walk out, but choose to hide behind his wife and baby. Not to mention sending his armed son out to shoot a federal agent doing his job. Time we put a stop to this crud. We could force them out if we wanted to, convict them of a felony and take their damn gunz.
