General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsIs there a group here which discusses Meditation? I have searched and
found the Buddhism group, but haven't found a group which is for meditation in general.
I want to make sure I haven't missed it,
bec. I keep accidently coming across interesting groups (eg Anthropology, Atheism) which I never knew existed.)
thanks.

(3,864 posts)I will "toss it up" as the link says.
There are already almost 10 people here who agree.
I want to word it in a way which will draw the most people, so all of you, pls help me out.
for ex, those of you who said include mindfulness,
I completely agree! That is what I am studying now.
But I don't want to limit it to mindfulness.
In your mind, if I say "meditation" does that not include mindfulness?
Do you think I should say "meditation and/or mindfulness group"
It seems to me that meditation includes mindfulness, mindfulness is one form of meditation, - but maybe some disagree?
Should the proposal be "tossed out" in the GD forum?
other forums?
definitely I would say in the Buddhism forum.
maybe the religion and spirituality forum...
Help me word the subject line--
"Proposal for new group: Meditation/Mindfulness"
?
and then we have to say some thing about the purpose of the group?
why there should be should a group...
thanks!

(3,864 posts)is that what should go in the group description/purpose?
How long?
I will look at some other groups, I can't recall if there even are group descriptions...
Can you help me out with what should go in the proposal to the administrators.
