Nope, we will not. But, we aren't Texassistan, either. We'll let them make fools of themselves and when they are done being douchy, we'll go back to smoking a little weed and chillin'.

Haney County Sheriff Ward has made it pretty clear that the takeover isn't acceptable. He's being patient and professional, waiting for (a lot) more resources to arrive and everything to be coordinated, but it's pretty clear these guys are going to be arrested at some point. I don't mind waiting them out (they're not worth bloodshed unless they initiate the shooting). I'm not the most cop-friendly person on this green earth, but I'm impressed with Sheriff Ward's response so far.

Of course, the numbers definitely forced his hand. The most recent report I read had 50-60 militants there at the refuge, and there's no way in hell he had the manpower on the scene to try and go in and arrest them yesterday.

that sounds depressingly like what people said after the BLM backed down from the original Bundy insurrection. "They're going to get Bundy later, after things cool off, and they're properly prepared, their ducks are all in a row..."

Cliven Bundy is still free. The insurrections are now multiplying. The BLM has basically surrendered an entire territory to Bundy and people like him for "safety."

Think about that for a moment. Our federal government has surrendered to these fucking thugs for their "safety."

I don't know about you, but I'm not getting a warm fuzzy feeling about how this is evolving.

It's the county sheriff I'm counting on (and the county prosecutor). Although that said, the local BLM/EWS people hate the Hammond's guts...and that may well transfer to the Bundyhadist interlopers.

buffoons. I truly don't believe they can hold out for long once the Feds decide to cut off power, water, etc. They claim they have plenty of resources but those go very quickly when it's this cold.

having one of the most militarized police forces in the world we are expected to believe these buffoons have law enforcement outgunned? I call Bullshit -

the rule of law has been broken - despite the lot of them being WHITE (privilege and all ya' know) this calls for action.

No power. Block ingress and egress on the only road leading to the access road to the site. If they have generators, they'll be out of fuel soon enough. If they have food, they'll eat it all up soon enough. Just block them in and block supporters out and wait. Freeze the assholes out and we'll see how long they stay there.

Put a couple of those military APVs to use on the road to form the blockade and have enough armed people manning it. Problem soon solved.
