Someone Put A Hitler Quote On Trumpís Picture ó His Fans Didnít Even Notice

The individual, who asked us to blur his name, shared a meme bearing Hitlerís words to the Facebook group, ďThe Trump Party,Ē attributing the words instead to the 2016 GOP presidential hopeful.
?resize=630%2C372

The meme was shared 28 times, and accumulated 103 ďlikesĒ in 11 hours. It was, in short, wildly popular when compared to other posts in that group. But surely someone noticed? Someone had to have fact-checked the quote. At least one person took a few seconds to verify its authenticity, right? Wrong.

The comments are both entertaining and chilling due to the depths of ignorance displayed in them.

2. Actually, this is very chilling (vs funny)

I guess this serves as a chilling reminder how "Hitler's" come to power

3. Not hard to do with any candidate

Someone could slap this quote on a Bernie picture and I doubt many would question it at first glance:

"Mankind is divided into rich and poor, into property owners and exploited; and to abstract oneself from this fundamental division; and from the antagonism between poor and rich means abstracting oneself from fundamental facts."

9. True; but, I would say ...

some candidates are easier to do it with, as their supporters are more emotionally driven. When you hear something close to what you want to hear, you are unlikely to challenge it's veracity.

Indeed.

Just putting "As a Christian...." at the beginning gets a lot of support no matter what comes after it.

13. In that case the syntax alone dates the verbiage and both the redundancy and the

conflict basis of the language are very unlike Sanders. It is neither what he says nor how he says it.

"If you want something said, ask a man; if you want something done, ask a woman."- Not Hillary.

"I believe that marriage is not just a bond but a sacred bond between a man and a woman. I have had occasion in my life to defend marriage, to stand up for marriage, to believe in the hard work and challenge of marriage. So I take umbrage at anyone who might suggest that those of us who worry about amending the Constitution are less committed to the sanctity of marriage, or to the fundamental bedrock principle that exists between a man and a woman, going back into the mists of history as one of the founding, foundational institutions of history and humanity and civilization, and that its primary, principal role during those millennia has been the raising and socializing of children for the society into which they are to become adults."-- That is Hillary Clinton.

Just for the sake of looking at the fact that it is possible to find a quote from Thatcher that could have been Hillary and then a quote from Hillary that could have been Thatcher....that is the game, right?

20. Except this one by Hitler is pretty much known

I do know of a person doing something similar with a audio clip. The clip was Prescott Bush saying something, and the republican idiots agreed with the statements. They thought it was Bushco jr.

12. I doubt many DUers, or those on the left, ...

would have piled on/liked this quote ... the "As a Christian " part, followed by the "fighter" part, would have given most, pause.

21. To be fair, it says "fighter for truth and justice"

Not "fighter with fists" or guns. Seems like something the Pope could have said. I wouldn't like it simply because Trump is in the picture. Sadly, I have a few Facebookers who post Trump things.

5. That's a fairly generic quote

There's not too much Hitler-ish about it. I don't know if it proves Nazism, as much as the immediacy and unreliability of the what you see on the internet.

We all have something clearly in common with Hitler, in that we're all human beings. We all must suck. Or at least the male half of the species. Or maybe just the white male part. Actually, just all Austrian born males suck.

14. Agreed.

I mean, Hitler did put out a very good, aggressive anti-tobacco campaign during his time as chancellor. He banned smoking on trams and buses, and raised tobacco taxes. Does that mean every non-smoking advocate is a Nazi?

This kind of thing on facebook is funny, but is ultimately not helpful.

How many DUers would have picked up on its origin?

I do believe Trump supporters are fascists but the first thing that came to my mind was how mindless many of us are too.

"Hillary is dummy and joke and obama is a Muslim and a dummy and a joke too."

Well, I won't vote for dummies or jokes. So, Obama, No Vote for You!
