Javier Ortiz is the president of the Miami Policeman’s Union. This is his Twitter account. It’s basically a lot of anti-Muslim rhetoric and retweets, along with Donald Trump-supporting chatter. The kind of stuff you expect from a middle-aged man who chews on Viagra the way children once ate Flintstones multivitamins. It also has strange racist retweets from accounts like “Black Violence,” a group of (probably) angry white men/boys who scour the internet for terrible crimes perpetrated by black people. Strange things for the head of a policeman’s union to put out in public. He posted this the other day, which has since come down. The screengrab came from the Miami New Times.
