It used to be that you could get the major news stories of the day every half hour on CNN and the headlines every fifteen minutes on HLN. Now there are many hours on both channels where there is no news coverage at all, just programming of various types.

There is no place on cable TV to reliably get any real news coverage. I end up coming here to DU to get the top headlines!

but bottom line is we are totally polarized. we watch msnbc and the w-nuts fox.

but, everyone in the airport watches cnn.
