1. True. They use machetes
Not sure I'd want to get chopped up by a machete. A gun shot is one and done if I had to go. Not crazy about pain.

4. Congress and state legislatures need educating. No, need recycling.
We need gun laws to outlaw dangerous guns/bullets and to say goodbye to this ammosexual culture.

16. Reality check
Last time I checked, heroin was illegal in this country, yet it is readily available in all of our prisons. If we can't keep drugs out of the most secure facilities in our country, how do we keep guns out of this nation when our southern border is wide open?

8. Why not say goodbye to the criminal and gang culture?
aren't there many "cultures" at play when it comes to gun violence in America?

29. Why not instead target the real gun crime problems?
Scary-looking guns and "gun culture" aren't what's killing the vast majority of gun homicide victims. They're killed with handguns, more often than not by persons with no legal right to possess that firearm. The highest priority in gun regulation reform should be reducing the flow of firearms into the hands of prohibited persons. Straw purchases and "street sales" are the largest sources of guns for felons who cannot purchase them legally (a bigger vector, it seems, than theft). There are already laws against these transfers, but not nearly enough resources dedicated to identifying and prosecuting people who knowingly transfer a gun to a prohibited person. That needs to change.

5. You'll never convince White America to give up their guns
by showing videos of young black males shooting each other. Videos like this are the reason permissible CCW laws are passing in state after state.

Also, whats 'white' and how do I tell if I'm looking at a 'white' person?

37. Would including gang members on the 'no fly' list prevent them from obtaining firearms?
Better yet, how about legislation that would mandate a lengthy prison term for any known gang member, or anyone
affiliated with a gang, found in possession of a firearm? |
