Kansas Pastor wants on the dumb f--k train

Kansas Pastor wants on the dumb f--k train.

Not quite content with the mentally unstable pastor from North Carolina and his solution (final solution) to round-up all the gays and work them to starvation or simply throw them onto an electric fence, a Pastor from Kansas (where religiously inspired queer bashing was invented) wants the government to kill all of them. Well, it looks somebody isn’t going to be invited to any Pride parades this upcoming weekend with that kind of attitude.

Indeed, Pastor Curtis Knapp of New Hope Baptist Church in Seneca, Kansas thinks the best method of letting tax-paying, law-abiding citizens live their lives is by killing them:

“They should be put to death. That’s what happened in Israel. That’s why homosexuality wouldn’t have grown in Israel. It tends to limit conversions. It tends to limit people coming out of the closet. — ‘Oh, so you’re saying we should go out and start killing them, no?’ — I’m saying the government should. They won’t but they should. [You say], ‘oh, I can’t believe you you’re horrible. You’re a backwards neanderthal of a person.’ Is that what you’re calling scripture? Is God a neanderthal backwards.. in his morality. Is it his word or not? If it’s his word, he commanded it. It’s his idea, not mine. And I’m not ashamed of it.” (Source: TowlerRoad.com)

Perhaps the Pastor should stop humping the Old Testament while listening to the ghost of Jerry Falwell for two seconds and do a little contemporary middle eastern history research. Israel is actually a very gay-friendly nation amid a powder-keg of virulently anti-gay Middle Eastern nations. In fact, Israel was the only Middle Eastern country that recently voted against a UN special amendment led by the sub-Saharan African country of Benin that sought to remove homosexuals and other sexual minorities from a list of “groups historically subject to executions including street children, human rights defenders, members of ethnic, religious, and linguistic minority communities,” So it seems that Pastor Hitler McChristnut is yet another prima facie example of why churches should have their non-profit status lifted faster than a Newt Gingrich divorce filing.

But, if a gay group said the same thing about a Christian group they would be arrested for making death threats.

Without that 1st amendment, we couldn't openly denounce the hate-trash for what it is. True?

If a gay origination said the exact same thing, it would be considered a death threat.

I didn't mean sad the 1st amendment gave the minister the right to be an asshole, but that the 1st amendment is selectively enforced.

Fred Phelps gets a lot of press, but he is FAR from alone in his opinions about gay people and what should be done with them.

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not fret-it leads only to evil (Psalm 37:8).

A fool shows his annoyance at once, but a prudent man overlooks an insult (Proverbs 12:16).

Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing (Proverbs 12:18).

A patient man has great understanding, but a quick-tempered man displays folly (Proverbs 14:29).

A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger (Proverbs 15:1).

Better a patient man than a warrior, a man who controls his temper than one who takes a city (Proverbs 16:32).

A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and a man of understanding is even-tempered (Proverbs 17:27).

It is to a man's honor to avoid strife, but every fool is quick to quarrel (Proverbs 20:3).

Like a city whose walls are broken down is a man who lacks self-control (Proverbs 25:28).

Mockers stir up a city, but wise men turn away anger (Proverbs 29:8).

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12:21).

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs (1 Corinthians 13:4-5).

Let your gentleness be evident to all (Philippians 4:5).

Wonder if he's in favor of that as well? Or does he simply want to pick and choose which parts of the Old Testament he wants to enforce, and which parts he wants to ignore?

I'm sure he just has some bad information, perhaps he picked it up reading on FR, where 'gays should not be around kids' and other similar hate messages are written by similar ignorant hate mongers.
