I created jobs today and here's how

I took my economical sedan in for an oil change and when I paid I supported three middle class jobs at the garage I use.

I took my dry cleaning into the local cleaner. She's about 80, her daughter is 50 or so. The Grandaughter who works there also is about 25. Another 3 jobs.

I washed my car and paid for the wash and gave the guys a tip. 2 jobs supported.

Did my laundry--soap, water, machine--supported jobs of who knows how many.

Paid the kid next door to mow the grass.

Ordered a pizza from the local spot, three people working. Yup, I supported them too.

Finally, the cats were fed--food--jobs and their box was cleaned--labor

I created the time to support my community and its jobs and I didn't need a damn politician to tell me how to do it.

How about you?

So I supported all those people who make the food (I check the labels and try to buy US goods and especially local), those who transport it to the store, those who stock it on the shelves and then, finally, those who process me through the check-out line.

So when more people like me start to shop because they have a job and can afford to buy stuff and create demand we'll be the real "job-creators."

That when I ask Republicans if the money paid to government workers doesn't get spent back and circulated into the U.S. economy, they get a blank look. They wish I wouldn't ask that, but the fact is that govt workers' money ALSO benefits our economy. Their whole BS argument that "big" (how big the hell is it exactly, Repukes?) government is "bad" has no explanations, except that they just want everyone beholden to the mega-rich and supporting them ever-better in their mega-rich styles.

were fancying up my house. I will tell you my house is becoming the talk of the town....its getting him more work as I'm on a main thoroughfare. New siding and some architectural details When neighbors ask I steer them to local trade guys in the neighborhood. He buys stuff at local lumberyards & I go to Home cheapo or Lowe's. I had the local garage door guy put on a new door.....everything I used is within a 5mi radius or less. Heck he even has breakfast around the corner. I don't mind that I'm over budget, my credit union gave me a line of credit....I figure I'm getting the interst I'd never get from the bank.

He has done such a great job I've had to warn my relatives to slow down or they will miss the house.
