http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/dec/01/mistaken-identity-guantanamo-bay-mustafa-al-aziz-al-shamiriA man who has spent 13 years in the US prison camp at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, was arrested partly in a case of mistaken identity, US officials conceded Tuesday.
Al-Shamiri has been held as an enemy combatant without charge at Guantánamo since 2002. He is one of 107 prisoners at the controversial base, 48 of whom have been cleared for release. It is not certain when he will learn if he is to become number 49.

Everything I read feels like a kick in the gut, and the polarization of B & H supporters is disappointing and demoralizing.
Send this poor man home now. In comfort.
How can we make this kind of mistake, repeatedly, in denial, and seem to be indifferent about it?
Collateral damage, they'll say, price of keeping us safe, only a few, we couldn't have known, blah blah.

The Wyoming Dickhole president disguised as vice president assured this country over and over again that only the worst of the worst were housed in Gitmo. Except the poor Uighur day workers who were sold to us as captives and the nearly 2/3 who were released after it was clear they had not done anything wrong. Hell, I'd bet good money that pustulating, pusillanimous, prick will be all over the TV spewing his hate and lies again this weekend. I say we shouldn't close Gitmo, but leave a few cells for Dick and his cohorts.
