Have I missed something because the Corporate media acts as if this country

Was hit by terrorist instead of Paris. It's all about the President isn't doing good on terrorism.WHAT!! when we're we hit since Obama has been in office.I didn't see this kind of criticism after 911 in reference to Bush.I've decided to turn off ALL Corporate news channels for the next few weeks. And listen to progressive stations on radio only.

Watching the meltdown of the MSM you would think we were attacked instead of Paris.

I'm going to be sixty in a couple of months, and there has not been a day in my life that school buses weren't being blown up, village leaders murdered, and scum walking into a public place and opening up with automatic weapons. We recognized "terrorism" only because it finally hit close to home, and even then we only recognized the foreign "terrorists," and not the domestic ones. The ruling class then realized they had a way to make much bank, by perpetuating an endless "war" against a nebulous enemy. Hell, it had already worked well (from their perspective) with the War On Drugs. It's a simple enough procedure to identify an "enemy" to which people of more-or-less good will can unite in opposition, then claim that whatever procedure one pleases is intended to "fight" that universal enemy. The marks apparently lap it up. The Paris attacks are a golden opportunity (I use the term advisedly) for the ruling class to bray about how tough they are and propose more repressive and exploitive measures to "fight" the bad guys of their own creation. And as a side benefit, it may make more moderate approaches appear feeble and helpless.
