If Trey Gowdy were smart...I'll wait for the laughter to die down....he would end this charade right
now and close down this entire hearing. They are looking so bad and so foolish they will never recover. It had to frost them when Hillary returned to the room and everyone wanted to shake her hand.

1. Imagine Jeb Bush or maybe even Rand Paul walking into that room, right now
grabbing the mic and says "alright, that's enough, stop this, this is not what we are about"
They would probably win the election |

2. Why?
The point of the hearings is to continue to enflame the passions of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents. The mere presence of the committee does that, and "looking stupid" doesn't hurt. If anything, it helps - "that woman made our side look dumb!!"
He's not trying to win any Democratic votes. And true swing voters are down to a meaningless percentage of the electorate. Additionally, he's feeding the media that is desperate to cover anything other than issues. So why shut it down? It's working very well and will continue to work well. |

3. Yes This is When Macy's President Tells Judge to Shut Down Kris Kringle' Prosecution
Luv that scene from Miracle on 34th Street
but Gowdy isn't smart enough to see he's losing but somewhere some Republicans in back rooms of Congress are thinking it |
