When the GOP talks about "entitlement" (earned benefit) reform they are talking about vouchers for seniors already on those programs. Seniors must remember they are keeping silent about effecting present seniors as well. The idea that their REFORMS would only effect future seniors is a MYTH. Read the damned writing on the wall when you hear their bullshit.
Any reform of Social Security will mean severe cuts to seniors now getting SSA checks.

(15,438 posts)Of course there are exceptions to the norm, but the vast majority of senior citizens vote Republican, for some strange reason, although, as I've already stated, there are exceptions to the norm.
