http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/10/20/1435754/-Biden-Embraces-Full-Broderism-Attacks-Hillary-from-the-RightA man whose time was 1988, Joe Biden sees room for himself to the right of Hillary Clinton, promoting "bipartisanship," a policy that was a failure when tried at various times in the last seven years. President Obama has been at his best when he went it alone on executive orders instead of chasing the moving goal posts of Republicans for a deal.
For the second time this week, Biden portrayed himself as a pragmatist who's capable of working with Republicans, drawing a subtle contrast with party front-runner Clinton.
"I don't think my chief enemy is the Republican Party,'' Biden said during a panel discussion at an event honoring former Vice President Walter Mondale in Washington. By contrast, Clinton named "the Republicans'' as one of her greatest enemies when asked at the Oct. 13 Democratic candidate debate.

(7,759 posts)appreciate Obama trying to be civil toward the GOP why would you scold Hillary for being different? Actually glad he is not running.

Wonder how many voters even know what we're talking about.
Thanks in part to Biden's maneuverings during those hearings, we have Clarence Thomas on the Supreme Court.

(69,727 posts)literally hate the Clinton's. I mean has he been in a bubble so long and does not listen to hate radio etc.

(32,596 posts)comprehend the hatred against the President as well. If he has not for the past 7 years that means he has been unable to provide good advice to Obama. That would get old.

(56,582 posts)Hillary Clinton is now the rightmost of feasible candidates, and may well be too far right for feasibility (time will tell). This would have been an absurd idea 20 years ago.
