If the Republicans choose someone who is not a Member of the House as Speaker, how will they pay...
If the person is not a Member of the House, they will not have a salary for him/her. The Speaker makes $223,500 and that money will have to come from somewhere.

2. Is that even possible? That the speaker could NOT be a representative?

5. according to the Constitution the Speaker is second in line to be President
so you think they can put someone that was not elected by no one except some members of congress to be in line to be President??

6. I think they can because people that decide those things seem to think they can.
Note that the House of Representatives' own web page says concerning that issue:
the Speaker—who has always been (but is not required to be) a House Member

The veep is second in line.

8. Well there is already a President so he can not be first because he is already there
so that would make the VP first inline to be President and that would make the speaker second
