If they speak up now about needing more guns they'll just aggravate the situation even more.

(182,585 posts)To the OP, yes they are laying low AND I haven't seen any polling being done on this. They are all letting this one cool. No worry the Washington Post is carrying their water with two asinine articles this week.

Logical
(22,457 posts)So will give you a break.
But how would I prove an anonymous poster on a message board is a NRA member? Is there some national database or something?
Weird you assumed this was about you. Hmmmmm.

(9,951 posts)I just assumed that you had proof of such accusation.
Weird that you would make the accusation, but not have the proof. Hmmmmmmm.

(4,462 posts)As always, whenever the president and Democratic leadership discuss gun control, the NRA enlists numerous new members and receives a fundraising windfall, all while barely lifting a proverbial finger.
Sadly, given the shrill tone of our party concerning guns and gun owners, this money and political organization will largely be deployed against vulnerable Democrats in federal and state elections in 2016 (even though there'll probably be no major or serious legislative efforts for new firearm restriction in Congress).
