George W. Bush Enjoying New Status as Smarter Bush

DALLAS (The Borowitz Report)—After years of being subjected to unfair ridicule, former President George W. Bush is now enjoying his newfound status as the smarter of the two Bush brothers to have achieved elected office.

Speaking to reporters at his home in Dallas, Bush said he was deriving “quiet satisfaction” from a new poll showing that ninety-one per cent of the American people now consider him the smarter Bush.

“I know that no one’s saying I’m a genius,” he said, modestly. “But I look pretty good when I’m graded on a curve.”

Bush pointed with particular pride to the fact that seventy-four per cent of those polled said that, of the two Bush brothers, he had a “far superior command of the English language.”

2. If only I were a fly on the wall in "W's" home, I'm confident that

I could verify that W smugly feels justified that the American public thinks he is the "smarter" Bush Bro. But, it's so easy to mis-understimate both, how can we ever know? Maybe Cheney's book will demonstrate conclusively how dumb "W" really is.

3. I for one...am shocked.

I seriously thought that Jeb was the smarter Bush. That was the rumor. That Jeb had always been the one who was supposed to be President. He was the anointed one, but some cosmic screw up in the Bush family foisted "W" on all of us.

Jeb makes "W" look like Einstein. Jeb really is as dumb as a box of rocks.

"W" definitely has him beat on the psychopath scale too.
