Interesting, Have Noticed Some Kim Davis Backlash Among Republican Women

... ones I happen to know... They also happen to be RW Christian as well... However, they are sorting out that what Davis is doing has nothing to do with Christianity.

Davis is going to be under the bus by next week if they can't hold that demographic.

Are people (even on the right) waking up to the fact that theocracy is bad...?

2. My mother was a Republican all her life, and quite religious, too, but she...

never, ever put up with this kind of nonsense.

Your religion might prevent you from taking a particular job, but should never prevent you from doing the job you take.

6. This is so perfect.

"Your religion might prevent you from taking a particular job, but should never prevent you from doing the job you take."

Even the more stupid should be able to understand.

If it could be cut down a little, it would be an excellent bumper sticker.

7. Women across the political spectrum have far less tolerance for homophobia than men

This is a massive loser issue for GOPers. They want to hang their hat on the Kim Davis hook, I'm not going to stop them. But's it's politically disastrous. The American public is pretty much done with this level of bigotry.

8. Attitudes have changed, but according to Pew polls women are slightly more supportive (5%)

than men of gay marriage (58% women support/53% men support)

There are quite a few interesting graphs of support--by demographic--in the above article.
Worth taking a look.
