It is at times like this that I REALLY miss Molly Ivins.

Can you begin to imagine the fun she would have harpooning tRump and the rest of the klowns? She could shoot the wings off a fly, rhetorically, and this target-rich environment would have been irresistible.

She had that gift of being able to to strip out the nonsense and expose the core reality of a person or issue with deft humor and charm.

A few years ago I gave my copy of "Bushwhacked" to a friend who wasn't very political. He said that book changed his life and he sees everything differently. He's since read all of Molly's books and much more, but she hooked him.

Molly Ivins should be required reading.

After Molly Ivins, who?

Borowitz. He's sort of OK.

Then?

Who on DU remembers Art Buchwald?
