I've been watching "Scared Straight"...can't believe it has negative results.

And yet they continue with the program!

Few quick fixes. Most things that work rely on compelling self-introspection, mindfulness (not the Buddhist definition, but the "expropriated" psych one), and empathy. Some just increase alienation and self-absorption; some alleviate an actual need.

In other words, if you feel like part of the community or group you're not going to hurt the group without a damned good reason.

That should be a wake up for a lot of people.

One that I got wrong I was thinking "negative" but clicked "no effect" for some reason. It did come up as a negative.
