Is Trump seriously running?

What's the DU verdict? Does Trump think he really could be President? Or is he planning on dropping out, to enjoy the attention and opportunities that having run will give him?

I can't figure him out. Sometimes I think he's smart enough to know being President is difficult, to say the least, but other times I think he's delusional enough to believe he COULD do the job happily.

3. No.

What Trump thinks is immaterial.

The RNC is calling the shots here and Trump will remain in the fray only until his useful idiot act (and it is an act) is no longer needed.

4. I don't think he was, but now that he is leading....

....he may move in that direction.

Remember, W. was President. Could even Donald be worse than that? He has to believe he can do the job better than the last (R) who was in that office.

5. I have no doubt that he thinks he will win.

I have no doubt that he won't.

He has his money and his bullshit and a fistful of people who are TV addicts.

But he will need way more than that.

6. Yes, he is seriously running.

At this point there's no doubt in my mind that he's convinced he can win.

8. I don't think he can hand off his supporters but

he could hand off his delegates and be the kingmaker. Another post-democratic nightmare to contemplate.

Bush is his least favorite of the group.

10. I think so.

I'd bet he views himself as at least as capable as George W. Bush.

14. I don't think he would like living in the WHite House, strick Secret Service guidelines, etc.

Even if he is seriously running now, when he thinks it over, he will find a way to withdraw and blame it on other people.

15. No. He's out for glory for himself. He has no intention of working for the country.

If it looks like he will actually win he will find some way to step out.
Though I'm sure the GOP will find a way to kick him out ahead of time.

He has zero interest in being President.

20. Nah, he'd hate that job ...

... the prez can't just bark orders and expect things to happen. There are processes, and they would drive Trump nuts.
