Messing around in someone else's primary could be tricky, because in a low turnout election, Trump could actually win the GE.

He won't get any votes from Hispanics, Jeb Bush would.

voter to be repulsed by Trump & his antics, but what if the GE turns out to be like one of our disastrous mid-terms? Trump could squeak in, just like "W".

Gives Trump the highest favorability ratings of all GOP candidates with Hispanic voters. 34% for Trump, 31% for Jeb. Everyone else less than that.

Republican then you vote in the Republican primary. If you are registered as an Independent then you can chose to vote in either primary but not both.

Be very careful of what you wish for. There are a lot of stupid people in this country.

I remember a sleazy politician who'd made a name for himself as Joe McCarthy's hatchet man. He was swept into office by people who hated hippies and college kids. I remember a B-actor turned corporate pitchman with a room temperature IQ and lazy disposition. He was swept in by people who liked the sound of his voice and couldn't do math. I remember a New England preppie turned fake Texan with a negative IQ and personal history that would make Caligula blush and an ongoing, untreated drinking problem who was swept in by a combination of stupid people and a corrupt Supreme Court--with a lot of help from his brother.

All those men were utter disasters in office. We're facing another election where people want a change from having that black guy in office and are surly enough about that to vote for any shithead the Republicans give them. Trump would be a complete disaster for this country.

So no. Don't even think about helping that sack of shit get the nod. You might just get what you wish for and he just might win the general election.

Watch him win the primaries, and possibly even the General Election.

Even if he were not to win, it would basically just grant that type of idiocy legitimacy.

Absolutely not.

2012 was an absolute circus, 2016 is shaping up to be even crazier.
I refuse to think about how much worse 2020 is going to be, following this pattern.

That stuff always backfires. Remember how Michael Moore, Bill Maher and others voted for Nader in 2000 because they wanted to make a statement??? The price of their "statement" was eight years of BUSH!

Your vote is important...don't play with it...use it wisely.

and tens of millions though Palin was better than sliced bread while Dan Quayle is forever a part of American history and was a heartbeat away so you can't ever be 100% sure such an effort wouldn't backfire no matter how rosey the polls seem.

Let the idiots pick their own idiot and see how it shakes out. Good news is left to their own devices they will probably screw the pooch better than we can screw it for them.

Besides you only get one vote so use it to nominate Sanders so that way if we win we actually have some hope of winning.

to go vote in a Republican primary for Trump instead.

As a Bernie voter, I'll be too busy voting for the winner of the Democratic primaries.

I'm voting for Bernie in the Arkansas primary, even though the head of the state's Democratic Party recently said that Hillary has Arkansas "in the bag".
