In the GOP mini mind only "Repubicans" serve in the military honorably. Democrats are always suspect in their service if they are in political office. Like Tammy Duckworth, Kerry, Max Cleland, Wesley Clark, and others touting your military service is suspect, self serving, arrogant, narcissistic and even fraudulent even where there is prove that you earned your medals.

After all Democrats are the unpatriotic and traitor party. They are the communist supporters and terrorist supporters. That is because they are weak on national defense. And sadly the public buys into this bullshit. Kerry probably lost the elections because of the swift boat attacks, even though all the rhetoric was a complete lie. Yet Bush was a deserter and he was elected a 2nd time.

What makes matte worse if that the MSM cooperates with this meme. The MSM even advances such ideas.
