GOP Scolds Trump over McCain Comment. GOP can GO TO HELL!!!

‘Disgraceful': Trump Gets Savaged on Twitter––Especially by Conservatives––over McCain Comment

http://www.mediaite.com/online/disgraceful-trump-gets-savaged-on-twitter-especially-by-conservatives-over-mccain-comment/

The GOP can go FXCK themselves. Where was all this concern when Kerry was being swift boated? No where! They danced around like idiots at their convention with purple band aids.

Of threads on the DU in 2008 calling McCain a traitor and/or accusing him of actively helping his captors in Vietnam... And I'm sure even if there were, they didn't start to appear just before the election and stop just after, because that might mean it's not JUST a republican thing.

They showed it, but absolutely did not say anything about it being wrong. This sent a signal that JK deserved this.
It would have been better not to show it at all.

Here, I also fault McCain and EVERYONE who spoke to that crowd without saying for people to remove them. They could then have given their speeches, praising Bush and attacking Kerry. That is fair. They ALL failed a moral test in not rejecting this. That it was all of then suggests that it was condoned and encouraged by B/C and they KNEW the media would not call them on it

I doubt many of them even remember McCain ran for President. They were voting for Sister Sarah.

This weekend I was at an event for military families, and a group calling themselves "GOP for Vets" was actively recruiting volunteers. Their mission: target military personnel, spouses, parents et al. to register voters (guess which party affiliation) and actively campaign between now and November 2016.
Couldn't tell how successful they were with signing people up to vote against their own interests, but there was no Independent or (Dog forbid!) Democratic politicking at today's event.
We cannot afford to write off ANY voting bloc (OK, maybe Tea Baggers). How do we turn the GOTP "strength" of military/veterans' loyalty against them?
It's fun to watch the clown car roll into the ditch, but we need to make every vote count!

Can somebody smarter than me please help with this...

Part of McCain's legacy of honorable service is that he says the North Vietnamese were going to send him back home (Admiral's son; good PR; etc) and that McCain refused to go. He supposedly told them that the only fair way to do it was that the guy who was captured first went home first...

So... He told the North Vietnamese it wouldn't be fair or honorable and they said OK?

That has never made any sense to me. What am I missing?
