Why doesn't Planned Parenthood

sue the "effing" pants off those James O'Keefe wanna-bees?

I've seen the actual "unedited" video and have read the "unedited" transcripts, and it is beyond a shadow of a doubt that the PP Rep was talking about perfectly legal organ and tissue donations, and the only reimbursement or "funds" even discussed were the cost associated with transportation, shipping, storage etc., that would be involved in donating organs and tissue for Medical Research.

All of which, I might add, is perfectly legal.

The people who surreptitiously filmed and heavily edited the exchange, are out there accusing PP of "Selling fetal body parts for profit" and "violating federal law".

How is that not slander?

Now, you have 24/7 "poutrage" from the Reich-Wing Noise Machine, and hearings scheduled in Congress, and about a half dozen State Governors "so-far" have ordered criminal investigations.

These people edited a conversation to make it appear as if "criminal" activity occurred, and then accused PP of criminal activity...and they made sure it was sensationalized enough that it would have the hate talkers salivating.

It's the same shit that happened to Acorn.

and do you know why they are doing it again, to another organization that does tremendous good for our country? Because no one punched them in the face when they did this to Acorn.

Someone better start fighting this soon.

BTW - how the fuck stupid do these people think Americans are? If I'm selling a baby heart to save someone's life, I'm charging a hell of a lot more than $40

1. Because the corporate mass media lets the faux scandal play on for ratings and mischief, before much later

simply going silent as the propaganda purpose and lies become clear, moving on to the next faux outrage.

Why doesn't Planned Parenthood sue?

Some years back Carol Burnett sued the National Inquirer for portraying her as drunk at a restaurant, possibly as an alcoholic. She does not drink, mainly because of seeing first hand the ravages of alcoholism in her family. She got quite a hefty sum, which she immediately donated to some good causes.

Planned Parenthood, and all the people and organizations that are attacked like this, need to go on the defensive as strongly as possible.

2. Maybe they believe that responding to it extends the story

and that's not good for them; but I agree that people need to stand up to O'Keefe and his ilk.

4. And maybe they don't want to divert resources from what they're all about

and that is giving women the health care they need. Resources are stretched thin even when some asshole isn't doing a smear job against them.

Lawyers are expensive.
