"Both parties are the same" nonsense

We've all seen these types of posts usually by right-wing-nutz who can't come to grips with how screwed up their political beliefs are.

Please post up here some posters or quotes that destroy the "both parties are the same" meme so I can use them as a counter to this nonsense. Thanks in advance.

I will vote Democrat or not at all, and will vote for the nominee for president due to court appointment powers but both are in hock to corporate power, and neither has any enthusiasm for securing a meaningful standard of living for all citizens. That has passed. A vast overhaul is needed

The other one is still fighting internally over whether to represent it's traditional values and constituencies or to find the vacuum for the moneyed interests that's being abandoned by the teapublicans.

but I know there are some good ones out there.

Here's some simple ones right off the top of my head:

* if you are a woman needed birth control, the two parties obviously are not the same.
* if you are an LGBT couple wanting to get married, or just have access to your critically ill partner's hospital room, the two parties obviously are not the same.
* if you are a veteran needing assistance, the two parties obviously are not the same.
* if you are a parent of a child with asthma, which is of course aggravated by air pollution, the two parties are obviously not the same.
* if you are anyone who wants to have some reasonable assurance that your drinking water is safe, the two parties obviously are not the same.
* if you are a climate scientist with decades of experience who knows that the climate is changing drastically with serious impacts coming to the human population of the planet, the two parties obviously are not the same.
* if you are a biologist or naturalist noticing the decline of bee and butterfly populations and sadly aware of the causes for those declines, the two parties obviously are not the same.
* if you are a fast food worker hoping for an increase in the minimum wage so you can get a little closer to being able to pay your bills, the two parties are obviously not the same.

I could go on and on but gotta eat my lunch and go back to work, sigh.

The actual effects of one party replacing another in office never seem to stop the tide of abuses from the financial-political-military-industrial sectors.

There is a large list of serious issues where the US has been headed in the wrong direction for decades and the switch of party control has had little to no effect on any of them - endless war and banking abuses being at the top of the list.

They're gaming us. They have the social issues divided neatly to keep us at odds with each other, they have the two-man con where they let us "throw the bums out" only to get a new set of bums who behave exactly the same.

If you want genuine change, your options today are Sanders on the left, or Paul on the right. Watch how the corporate media and corporate candidates act in concert to destroy both of them over the coming months.

8. I think of it in terms of branding.

Let's consider two brands:

One is Growers Direct Organic Fruit Juice - organic, natural, good for you, just juice.
Let's call this brand the Democrats.

The other is Coffee-Mate - an industrial "food" product containing corn syrup solids, partially hydrogenated soybean and/or cottonseed oil, sodium caseinate, dipotassium phosphate and sodium aluminosilicate.
Let's call this brand the Republicans.

The problem is that no matter which one you buy, the profits flow to their common parent company, Nestlé.
Let's call Nestlé the 1% - because they are.

Yes, Democrats are better for you than Republicans - just like Growers Direct Juice is better for you than Coffee-Mate. But don't kid yourself about what's going on in the world of ownership and branding, whether it's food or politics.
